Only the working surface has been flattened, the rest of the block is still raw stone. The pattern of the hall is based on circles. Circles are the most stable geometric form and inspire a feeling of safety and protection. The circles overlap to form a wonderful star-shaped and three-dimensional ceiling.The outer facade is based on the same geometrical principle, though lacking the “stars”. The rest of the interior has been lined with hand limed spruce wood and hemp.
